A common misconception is the difference between Change Management vs. Change Leadership. Is it the same? Is it different? 

“Change Leadership’ and ‘Change Management’ are often used interchangeably, hence the easy confusion. If you’d like to figure out what the difference is between the two, then I want to help you figure that out today.  

Change Leadership is the ability to influence and inspire action in others, and respond with vision and agility during periods of growth, disruption or uncertainty to bring about the needed change. – Yvonne Ruke Akpoveta

Change Management is the systematic and tactical approach to managing transitions or project-like changes. It typically requires the use of various change tools and methods, training and knowledge development, and communication mechanisms. – Yvonne Ruke Akpoveta
